HI,
Been on humira for 6 months. lately I have been tired all the time with no drive or ambition. any problem or set back stops me cold and I retreat back into the house.this is not like me.
Anybody else have this happen?
Tried the search but did not know the right keyword to get any results.

I am a little like this and I put it down to being depressed.
Maybe you should have a close look at that angle.

Hi Lenny, welcome to ArthritisInsight. Fatigue and ennui are, at least for some of us if not most of us, constants with RA. I suggest you speak with your physician and be evaluated for contributing factors.

As Bodak so rightly says, depression is all too common in chronic illnesses and can definitely be both the trigger and the result of lack of drive/ambition.

Best wishes for a speedy resolution. Let us know how "it" goes.

hi, i too suffer from extreme fatigue. I'm also bipolar and on meds, prozac.
I sleep all the time, even i go out and about and get a small amt of exercise, it doesn't seem to help me, like others.

I get tired, of just forcing myself to do things and now i can barely stay awake to watch a one hr tv show.. its very frustrating.
 i can't believe shug is gone..Ouch
Follow your bliss~ and add:
Prozac~(bipolar), embrel, folic acid,,Mobic, valium, darovcet, vicodin and atarax
liptor & Exhaustion! :P lol

I've noticed too in the past that when the RA isn't well controlled the fatigue is the worst. Are you feeling pretty good physically?
