I started taking Celebrex about a month ago, was on it straight for 2 weeks then dropped down to every other day. It definitely helps but my orthopedist does not want me on it for the rest of my life.
Simple OTCs like Motrin and Aleve just don't help. I started a journal about a week ago to keep track of my symptoms and other things like weather, my activities, whether or not I took my medication that day... I think on the days I skip Celebrex my ankle is a little more sore, but I still have to do more research to tell.
What do you guys take for your pain, whether it's RX or OTC or herbal?? What are the long-term side effects, if any?
